my best work

a beautiful flower kept with half of its leaves looking fresh in a wooden vase..well the concept came all of a sudden..i made a rough sketch with 2B pencil not so sure what the result will be..as i was not much into paintings loved the work with pencils..i took some brown color n spread it off on the paper..making it darker to give a wooden wall look,then made the vase using dark brown color spread it over keepin in mind the light effects...left it over n completed the leaves n flower..as i didnt want it to be gaudy i used minimum color..using shades of just two colors green n brown..then using white i ended up with the shine on the vase..i m proud of this one..love the shades of the vase..wat u say

my latest sketch

this one is my latest sketch done dat of a model from Femina..i loved the look of the beads n her ear ring which prompted me to go ahead n make this stuff..never thought it will turn out like this..but the result is good...the effect of the beads to some level has been achieved...it was made using 2B,6B on plain normal paper..after making the sketch it was edited in photoshop to give the shady effect..hope it looks good now..u tell

Mangala exp passing thru the thal ghats

here is a pic taken by my friend from IRFCA(Indian Rail Fans Club),it is of Nizamuddin bound Mangala Express crossing a bridge in the thal ghats..there are number of bridges as u start thal ghats..this one is one of them..these bridges were made during the british raj n indian rail is goin on maintaining it...this pic was taken from a motel named MANAS which is adjacent to the line..here u can see another line which leads to mumbai...from here u will take 10mins to reach igatpuri..

Igatpuri- a place one should visit during monsoon

well this pic was taken by a friend of mine,its the last bridge u come across while goin from mumbai CST to igatpuri,it was build during the british raj but the railways keep on renovating to avert any accidents...it looks great during the rains with fog all over n train passing thru the luscious green mountains...u can see a number of waterfalls in this area..he had clicked this from a train while coming to mumbai
